Day One - My First EVER Diet!!!
Well, I think that I have done very well today - reckon I have made a good start!
I have eaten all that I made late Sunday night for my dinner & tea! I actually got up early & made my breakfast (yes that is a massive change for me! Lets see if I can keep that up!)
I wasn't actually hungry & I had no carving for a hash brown muffin which I usally have when I get to work. It wasn't until my boss got one that I snook off & got the recommended yoghurt as a mid morning snack.
I even did really well as when I got to my other job there was a party will all the usual party food, pizza, garlic bread, crisps, cake - the usual. I ONLY, I know, had one chicken dipper. I had to check that they were cooked properly & considering that I am usually the type that eats everything & anything going!!
Though, I am a little worried that I have done so well today, that I am worried about tomorrow being me constantly thinking about food & what I was going to eat next.
To sum up: Day One - proud of myself

Saturday
Ha - Me! Diet!!
Ok, so something new starting as of Monday, can't actually believe I am going to say this, a DIET!
The first one I have every done - I have always been a non-believer, just like gym going or membership. However I have tried to exercise and eating healthy - well not eating crap, but nothing is really working / I was having too much freedom of food and through doing two jobs, way too easy to just stop by a fast food take out - I have decided to start a actual diet and not one that I made up.
So Monday it will start and I shall be keeping an updated blog to help encourage me to stick to it.
I managed to stick to my 'I will clear out some of my clothes' which I have been saying for months!
I actually threw out five bags of clothes and an additional five bags of shoes and belts!!
I think that it actually killed me, I was routhless will some of my clothes and in addition, I even organised my wardrobe, work clothes, dress-going out & day, & day clothes!
So, I will regulary update my blog with my progress -
I might even include my actual weight on Monday - we shall see.
Good Luck Me!!!
Missing Glastonbury or Missing Boyfriend?
Usually, at this time of year I have never paid much attention to the festivals that arrive every year - other than the occasional thought, that 'I really should attend one at some point in my life'. And my thoughts never go any further than there!
However! This year I find myself in a completely different mind set. Having done a little research on the Glastonbury website (yes secretly looking to see if I can spot my fella in any of the pictures that they have posted - not yet) I have found myself getting excited and seriously considering the possibility of attending on.
But what about the mud, you ask. Well I have giving this some thought and over the years through work I have found myself, kayaking, raft building, 44mile walk over two days, caving, weaselling (pretty much just squeezing yourself through tiny spaces in rocks - yes I did get stuck) I think I can handle some mud, well a lot of mud.
I have come to understand that it has kind of become some 'right of passage' - of a fashion. Whether it be Glastonbury, V Festival, Benicassim and the hundreds more that there is. I am beginning to think that it is only a matter of time before the festivals as we know them will no longer be the same. Having read reports about the amount of arrests - mainly due to illegal substances and the tents that have been erected to test any suspect substances - things will change.
So all in all - I have come to the conclusion, that I am missing out! [Well if I attend at least one - I don't have to do another one - if the mud and lack of facilities are too much for me] That I am nearly 25 and I have been to very few concerts and no festivals, things need to change!
I have already ready taken some very important planning steps! I have done some research into to the much sort after Festival Fashion :)
Next year!!!
Oh and I am missing my fella - jealous of him being there - smiling as it ridiculously muddy but missing him!

Budgeting!? Waste of time - or time get on board?
I know you are sick of hearing the awful awful word 'Budgeting' but more and more of us are finding ourselves using it of a justification, both at work and at home.
'We are unable to attend the event/run the event like last year or at all due to cuts'
'I can't attend the brillaint night out that you've planned due to lack of funds'
It officially sucks!
I know that people and families have been doing it for years but I guess that people in their circle of friends 'get it'. But when you are young (I use this term loosely) do your friends really get it? Do mine?
When we were 15 and had no real means of income you dealt with it and still managed to be out all weekend and have a great time.
Now I find myself arguing over silly things with friends, such as 'Yes, I'll come but I'm not going to drink' usually ends up with a reply of 'well ,we might as well not go at all, if you're not going to drink!' then quickly followed with a short really of 'If we can't have a good night without drinking then we have problems!'
As you can imagine this never goes down well and so the sulking / pouting beings!
Over the past two months, I got a shape shock about my spending habits and I had to make some drastic changes to my spending. I haven't bought a single item of clothing, make-up, accessory or beauty item (hair product/cut or nails).
Well done to me but how boring, especially when you accompany your boyfriend on a rare shopping trip for him!
Hopefully, through my budgeting I will come across some tips/great finds that I shall share, cause if theres one thing I can share right now - is that it is hard!
Regardless of if you have been doing it for years or have just started like me.
Wish me luck this month.
Wednesday
Jumping in - Part Two
So I have finally logged in from home and decided to take the plunge to make a start on my blog!
Though my week hasn't go off to a great start!! Waking up at 6am on Monday, thinking that I had slept right through the day! Wondering why no-one from work had bothered to contact me, and more importantly why hadn't my boyfriend! Before realising that I hadn't slept through the entire day and that it was 6AM!
Not a happy bunny let me tell you - then I was late for work - awesome.
Today was a good day until I banged the top of my knee on a broken draw, just as I was trying to leave - you know when you know it's going too well - and bang! Well more of a bang and a scrap! I was too worried to check it there and then, so I walked home with a throbbing knee and checked when I got in - the coward the I am - and low and behold - a lovely cut with a bright red mark that has swelled up! Just when I thought that my legs has fully recovered from bruising due to a week away on a residential three weeks ago, no shorts or skirts without tights for me (though I am not a fan of the whole shorts with tights).
So here I am Tuesday, sore just above the knee with a nice cut, swelling, looking for a bit of sympathy due to my injury and I realise I will not get a single 'aww' until at least Wednesday due to my boyfriend attending the festival, and is leaving/at least getting up at 5am!
Do I envy him?
Attending the festival? Yes, I do.
Early get up and the long drive? No, ha!
So there, you have it, my first real post - congratulations to me! But in the interests of not being late for work again, my bed is calling!!
Friday
Jumping in!
Having just set up my very basic blog, I am not going to add anymore at this moment in time, as I am at work - Bad employee - I know.
