So I have finally logged in from home and decided to take the plunge to make a start on my blog!
Though my week hasn't go off to a great start!! Waking up at 6am on Monday, thinking that I had slept right through the day! Wondering why no-one from work had bothered to contact me, and more importantly why hadn't my boyfriend! Before realising that I hadn't slept through the entire day and that it was 6AM!
Not a happy bunny let me tell you - then I was late for work - awesome.
Today was a good day until I banged the top of my knee on a broken draw, just as I was trying to leave - you know when you know it's going too well - and bang! Well more of a bang and a scrap! I was too worried to check it there and then, so I walked home with a throbbing knee and checked when I got in - the coward the I am - and low and behold - a lovely cut with a bright red mark that has swelled up! Just when I thought that my legs has fully recovered from bruising due to a week away on a residential three weeks ago, no shorts or skirts without tights for me (though I am not a fan of the whole shorts with tights).
So here I am Tuesday, sore just above the knee with a nice cut, swelling, looking for a bit of sympathy due to my injury and I realise I will not get a single 'aww' until at least Wednesday due to my boyfriend attending the festival, and is leaving/at least getting up at 5am!
Do I envy him?
Attending the festival? Yes, I do.
Early get up and the long drive? No, ha!
So there, you have it, my first real post - congratulations to me! But in the interests of not being late for work again, my bed is calling!!
